St. Philomena is a special patron saint for young women. She suffered martyrdom under the Emperor Diocleisian in the early centuries, for the sake of Christ to whom she vowed her virginity. She was only 13 years of age.
The chaplet or rosary is composed of three white bicone crystal-like beads that represents her vow of virginity, and 13 red bicone red crystal-like beads representing her 13 years of life and her martyrdom. The Chaplet of St. Philomena will come with an explanation of her life and how to pray the chaplet.
The chaplet is made of bicone white and red crystal like beads with a centerpiece of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A medal of St. Philomena is attached at the beginning of the chaplet.
